Students in New Pomona Class Acquire Art for Museum.

A new class at Pomona, Museum Collecting, “was created to give students a behind-the-scenes look at the detailed process of art acquisition and museum curating.” The class culminated in the students choosing one new work of art for the Pomona College Museum of Art: “Directed (North) by Rose B. Simpson.” This direct engagement with the arts is an expression of Pomona’s educational mission to “guide . . . the next generation of leaders, scholars, artists and citizens.” What will our students discover there?
