Tina Ye

Three words that describe me:

  • Helpful: I enjoy helping others.
  • Strong: I raised two children on my own. My son is an engineer, and my daughter is a marketing professional.
  • Dog lover: “Teddy” is my ten-year old fur baby.

Favorite college:

Stanford. Beautiful campus, nearby shopping, smart students and faculty. You can also walk your dog, on leash, to The Dish.

Special moment in my career:

The professional financial training I received as a mortgage loan processor.

If you were 16 years old again, what would you do differently?

In China, students are taught to obey their parents and teachers. If I were to something differently, I would be more rebellious, like my daughter was.

Describe your ideal student:

Someone who listens, does their work, but thinks for themselves.
